Our Goals:
- Inform youth about the realities of military life and counteract
myths and misinformation.
- Inform youth about non-military career alternatives.
- Inform youth and the public about the human and social cost of
war.
- Work with and support men and women in the military who are questioning
the mission and seeking discharge or withdrawal.
- Support those who are working to improve services available to
returned vets.
What We Do:
- Set up information tables at colleges and events
- Conduct presentations at high schools
- Research and write flyers and informational material
- Distribute educational videos through free DVD lending library
- Support and work with local heroes from Gold Star Families for
Peace and Iraq Vets Against the War
- Reach out through advertisements in local high school newspapers
- Coordinate and join with other organizations working around similar
issues.
